About the center
The Childcare centre is to provide, early intervention, training for challenged children and weekday boarding to ensure these children can achieve their very best potentials. Also, the centre is to help provide succour to parents of challenge children as it could be overwhelming taking care of this children. It is also very important that lots of trainings for caregivers and parents will continue to hold at the centre and/or organised by the centre. We are in touch with the Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs (LASODA) in this venture to ensure we have everything done properly.
Needs PUNUKA Foundation/Care Centre will meet
- Individualized Care: PUNUKA Foundation/Care Centre will cater to the specific needs of each child with a disability, offering personalized care plans and interventions tailored to their unique abilities and challenges.
- Holistic Development: We aim to promote the holistic development of children with disabilities by providing a nurturing and stimulating environment that focuses on their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being.
- Specialized Education: PUNUKA Foundation/Care Centre will offer specialized educational programs designed to meet the educational needs of children with disabilities. We strive to create an inclusive learning environment that supports their academic growth and fosters a love for learning.
4. Therapy and Rehabilitation: Our foundation and care center will provide access to various therapeutic services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and psychological counseling. These services aim to enhance the children’s functional abilities, communication skills, and overall independence.
5. Family Support: Recognizing the vital role of families in the care and development of children with disabilities, PUNUKA Foundation/Care Centre will offer comprehensive family support services. We will provide resources, guidance, and counseling to parents and caregivers, empowering them to navigate the challenges and advocate for their child’s needs effectively.
